High Flow Turbine Outlet Assembly & Installation Diagram

Installation Notes:
  1. The internal divider’s depth has been set to correctly match the STI IHI VF Series turbocharger.

  2. When installing with the standard WRX TD04 turbocharger, the divider must be reduced in height by 7mm. This will normally be marked by a machines scribe mark on the divider wall.

  3. ALWAYS PHYSICALLY TRIAL FIT THE TURBINE OUTLET CASTING TO YOUR PARTICULAR TURBOCHARGER PRIOR TO FINAL EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLATION

  4. The standard WRX/STI turbine housing outlet gasket can be used in either of the preceding cases.

  5. When installing with APS' range of SR Series turbochargers, the divider must be cut off flush with the flange surface of the outlet casting.

  6. The turbine outlet casting should then be ground using a die grinder to suit the template.

  7. When the turbine outlet casting has been modified to suit the APS turbocharger, no outlet gasket should be used. The flange joint should be sealed using Loctite Permatex Ultra Copper 101br.
